Emmanuel Day Away 2026

9am - 4pm at Christ Church Chorleywood. Whether you’re a long time regular, or you’ve just started coming to Emmanuel, you are very warmly invited for a day of teaching, fellowship and fun!

10am All Age Service followed by a shared lunch at Emmanuel • 6pm Praise & Prayer

We are very excited that Paul Levy from the International Presbyterian Church, Ealing will be leading our teaching sessions in the morning.

Follow the steps below to sign up to attend our Day Away on Saturday 3rd in Chorleywood and/or our shared lunch on Sunday 4th at Emmanuel.
The sign up form for Saturday 3rd will ask for payment at the end. This helps us to cover our costs for the day.
Please do not let cost prevent you from joining your Emmanuel church family for the Day Away. Chat with Ed Millais or Joan Jeffery before you sign up as we would love you to join us.

This weekend is for the whole Emmanuel family from our youngest to wisest member.

There will be teaching for the adults and children's/youth groups in the morning, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch together, and the afternoon will be for fun! We'll have games, a walk, board games, plus tea and cake to finish the day off.

There’s lots going on for our children and young people!
For under 5s, a creche and toddler/pre-school group will be available during the teaching sessions.
Our 5-11s will be all together with a great team of helpers.
If you’re 11-14, you’ll have your own youth sessions.
Finally, if you’re 15 or 16, we’d love to give you the choice to either join the youth group or join the adults teaching session. Please let us know when signing up, or email the team before the day

There is plenty of level parking outside of Christ Church Chorleywood.

Bring yourself, your own Bible if you prefer (there are some available), a notebook and pen if you like taking notes, a picnic lunch and a reuseable mug (if possible) for refreshments.

If we’re joined by the rain, our wonderful afternoon activities team will have indoor games and fun for us instead.

We will provide Quiche. A sign up sheet nearer the time will enable you to offer to contribute by providing a salad, drinks or baguettes.
