Mission Support @ Emmanuel

As well as promoting the good news of Jesus Christ within Chesham, we feel it is important to support the wider church in this country and abroad.  We therefore give twenty percent of our income to support the following organisations and/or individuals:

The Walton familyThe Church Mission Society (CMS) Our CMS link missionaries, Simon and Laura Walton and their children, are on their third tour with CMS and are now working in Dar Es Salaam. Simon works at the Burungi Health Centre, Laura holds English classes with a group of adults in a disabled workshop and runs Sala Sala Kid's club. As a family they are actively involved in a local church.

 

Caroline & James Steer in proclaiming the gospel in Thailand with OMF. Caroline has been a member of Emmanuel for a number of years, James since their marriage in November 2010. James is currently learning the language and Caroline co-ordinates short term volunteers.

Malcolm & Irene CrawfordMalcolm and Irene Crawford working with CMS as volunteers for the Diocese of Muhabura based in Kisoro. Malcolm as Diocese Estates Manager and Internal Auditor. Irene helping students at the Vocational Training Centre to set up small businesses and assisting at the orphanage helping mothers encourage their babies to be inquisitive.   Yeboah FamilySarah and Samuel Yeboah working in Ghana, running a Christian basedBeacon Schoolchildren school that they set up - The Beacon School in Aburi.
Claire GingellNovi Most International and in particular Claire Gingell who is a member of Emmanuel and has been working in Bosnia Herzegovina with NMI since leaving University. Claire works with NMI in Mostar and Brankovac Evangelical Church in East Mostar.
