next course starts 3 May 2012

Christianity Explored is a relaxed, 8 week course designed to help anyone wanting to get to grips with the Christian Faith. During the course we seek to investigate…

• Who Jesus was;

• What his aims were;

• What is means to follow him today.

The course, which is normally held on a Monday evening,* begins at 7.30pm with a meal. After food there is an opportunity to explore one key aspect of Christian belief through a short presentation and discussion. No prior knowledge is assumed and you won’t be asked to read, pray or sing, but there will be lots of opportunities to ask and discuss questions. The evening ends at 9.30pm.

If you would like to find out more about the course and what it covers then please contact Andrew Patterson.

*We also run occasional daytime courses too.

Questions about the course:

What if I can’t make it every week? There may be days when you just can’t make it – that’s fine, and we can find ways to help you catch up on what you missed. Generally the more you can invest in the course, the more you will get out of it.

Do I need to bring anything? No. You will be given a workbook and a copy of Mark’s gospel in an easy-to-read version. There is no charge for the evening.

Will I get preached at? Each evening includes a talk to explain one aspect of the Christian faith and there is plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. Hopefully you will find it challenging and enjoyable.
